The companyās journey began in 1992 with the establishment of B.S. Engineering Works in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, founded by Mr. Baijnath S. Pathak. With a strong focus onE ngineering precision and product quality, the company built a solid reputation as a reliable manufacturer and supplier of elevator components including lift cabins, doors, motor units, operating panels, spare parts, and other lift equipment.
In 2008, the Prince Elevator brand was introduced to expand operations into elevator installation and turnkey lift solutions for residential and commercial buildings. This strategic step allowed the organization to provide complete elevator services from manufacturing and supply to installation and longāterm maintenance.
In 2026, the company entered a new phase of growth by establishing its corporate identity as Prince Elevator India Pvt Ltd. The organization is now led by the founderās elder son Mr. Indrajeet B. Pathak and younger son Mr. Nilesh B. Pathak, who continue the legacy of founder Mr. Baijnath S. Pathak while bringing modern leadership and strategic direction to the company.
